Anuria is an inability to urinate and is generally associated with acute kidney failure.
Symptoms of Anuria
Symptoms of Anuria in cats may include not urinating, as well as no urge to urinate, appetite loss, vomiting, weakness and dehydration.
Treatments for Anuria
Urgent treatment is critical and may include intravenous fluids and administration of drugs to stimulate urine production. In some cases dialysis is indicated.
