General information on Salmonella
Salmonella is a bacterial disease which produces gastrointestinal infection in vulnerable cats. It is somewhat uncommon in cats, although it can be passed to humans. Kittens kept in crowded, unhygienic conditions, as well as cats whose natural resistance has been compromised by malnutrition, virus infections or other stresses tend to be more susceptible.

Symptoms of Salmonella in cats may included diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, high fever, poor appetite, abdominal pain, and lethargy.

it started with one cat, diarrhea and vomiting, now all 3 cats are ill. we recently moved into a house with a dog and the cats are constantly locked up in a room and live infear, we have 3 weeks before are new place is ready, could this be casing all their illness or could it be a bad batch of cat food.
